Dr Parmanand Gupta

Dr. Pramanand Gupta, a distinguished figure in Hindi literature, maintained a vast and invaluable library, attracting renowned writers to his abode in Bangalore. As a professor at St. Joseph's College, he passionately imparted knowledge, captivating students with his teaching style. Dr. Gupta's commitment to Hindi language education extended to free classes at Nehru Hindi Pathshala.

Beyond academia, he advocated for accessible literature, advising Vidya Mandir's management to procure books for Hindi enthusiasts. Additionally, he facilitated translation efforts at the OL Cell, contributing to office-related activities. Dr. Pramanand Gupta's enduring legacy encompasses his contributions to education, literature, and the promotion of Hindi language and reading culture.
